Automating

Companies more often than not work in a very linear fashion—well, at least their legacy products. Data comes in, a person processes that data, data comes out.
But if it’s all about the data—most of which is stored on a computer—what’s with all the human interaction? Would Netflix have gotten where they are today by having humans track their users’ viewed moves and manually entering all the recommendations themselves?
Maybe it’s the consulting side of me speaking—or maybe it’s the side that is constantly thinking of improving the status quo. But I’m on a mission to improve the way things are done, wherever they may be.
I’ll keep this one short and sweet. Have a great week.
